The service and staff were quite friendly, deserving of a 4-star rating.

The hotel was absolutely fabulous, I recommend it to all. I had a wonderful experience here, everything was lovely, the location was excellent just off Ieper or battlefields of Flanders, and sightseeing. The staff was helpful and affable, as well as owner. Savoury cereals, pastries, yoghourt and cheese served in the morning: )

My stay at Villa Vauban was fabulous. I had a wonderful time exploring the city and the location of the guesthouse couldn't have been better. It was just a 2-minute stroll to the Menin Gate and a 5-minute walk to the market square with its charming cafes and restaurants. The room I stayed in was gorgeous and the bed was super comfy. Ria and Lorenzo, the hosts, were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. They made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this guesthouse and I will definitely be coming back.

We were warmly welcomed and instantly felt at ease. the room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and a great shower. the location was perfect - a quiet area just a short walk from the town center. the breakfast, delivered to our room, was delicious and there were many thoughtful touches throughout our stay. the owner went out of her way to ensure our comfort.

The staff was friendly and provided helpful advice about the city. My double room was top-class and attractive. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bath worked well. Its location relatively close to Menin Gate was magnificent and lovely.
